Luchtplaats, Amsterdam

Luchtplaats was the name chosen for the competition proposal for the redevelopment of the former prison complex ‘Bijlmerbajes’ by a consortium of investors headed by Wonam. The proposal included a sensitive adaptive reuse of parts of the infamous 1970s ensemble and the addition of high density housing, opening up and transforming the area into a new neighbourhood for Amsterdam.

ONE.GO advised the consortium during the first and second stage of the competition on concept development, commercial feasibility, and positioning.
